I'm always on the search for more healthy alternative drinks...minus the artificial sweeteners.
The great thing about this rose tea recipe is that it tastes amazing hot or cold. You can make it using black tea or green tea (pictured), depending on your taste.
This recipe uses a mixture of dry rose buds, dried apple pieces and cornflower petals to give it a fragrant aroma and mild floral taste.
I've listed out some rough instructions to get you started, but this really is a no recipe recipe! Adjust all measures to taste.

Notes before we get started!
I'm a big fan of simple recipes that don't need fancy equipment. For this recipe it does help to have a a sieve to strain the stewed tea mixture before serving.

Step 1.
Measure out your chosen tea leaves and place into a heatproof measuring jug or container.
Step 2.
Add the sliced apple, rose and cornflower petals.
Step 3.
Cover with hot (not boiling water).
Step 4.
Leave to infuse for 5 minutes or more, depending on your taste.
Step 5.
Strain the mixture (removing the rose, apple & cornflower petals) and set aside.
Step 6.
Garnish with additional rose & cornflower flowers. Can be served hot or cold
